Mitch received his Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy (BScPT) in 2005 and opened McInnes Physiotherapy in 2011. He is a Fellow of the Canadian Advanced Manual Physiotherapists (FCAMPT) and a senior instructor in the Orthopaedic Division Continued Education program, fulfilling a passion of teaching physiotherapists.
His main treatment focus is orthopaedics where he uses manual hands-on techniques to address biomechanical imbalances in combination with strength and conditioning. He also provides needling options to his treatments. He focuses on his patient’s goals and provides the education and tools for life-long health changes.
An avid trail runner, you’ll find Mitch on the lower trails of the Meewasin Valley with his pal Otis.
Jennifer Nadine and Katie are our front office staff, and the engine that keeps the clinic running (and most importantly keeps Mitch on task).
They’re the friendly voices you hear on the phone when you call and the smiling faces you see when you first enter the clinic.
We would be lost without them.
Otis is enrolled in our clinic therapy dog training program. He is always happy and has never met a person he doesn’t like immediately.
If you’re lucky enough to be there on a day he’s in, say hi and give him a few belly rubs!
