COVID-19 POLICY UPDATE

 We are very excited and encouraged with the reduced number of cases of COVID-19 in our province. However we must remember that COVID-19 is still present in our community and can still spread in a setting like physiotherapy clinics. As such we are continuing our COVID restrictions to do our part in limiting the spread of COVID - 19 

Some of the changes that you can expect at the clinic are:

Patients will be required to wash hands (or sanitize hands) on arrival to clinic, prior to treatment, and after treatment.


Please arrive at your scheduled appointment time. To reduce the number of people in the waiting room, please don’t arrive early.


Patients will be required to arrive alone to the clinic unless a family member is required in order to minimize the traffic in our waiting room.


Based on Saskatchewan College of Physical Therapists and Saskatchewan Health Authority recommendations it is still mandatory for patients to wear a surgical grade mask / procedural mask in the clinic. Masks will be provided to patients at the clinic. If you are unable to wear a mask due to a legitimate medical condition, treatment options will be offered including virtual care. 


Please answer COVID questionnaire emailed out prior to arrival or screening questions will be asked on arrival to ensure appropriateness of appointment attendance.  


Prior to booking or coming into the clinic for an appointment, please take the time to complete the self assessment tool and answer the following questions:

  • Do you have any of the following symptoms? A temperature greater than 38°C or 100.4°F, cough, shortness of breath, sore throat, chills, headache, muscle or joint pain (other than what you are visiting to the clinic for), difficulty breathing (e.g., struggling for each breath, speaking in single words), severe chest pain, having a very hard time waking up, feeling confused, or lost consciousness.
  • Have you been exposed to someone wo is under investigation for COVID-19 or has been confirmed as having COVID -19 with the last 10 days? If both parties were wearing masks and you are vaccinated you are not considered a close contact and can keep your appointment as scheduled, assuming you are free from symptoms and continue to test negative
  • Does a member of your household currently have or suspected to have COVID - 19? We ask you to postpone your appointment until that member of your household is symptom free and testing negative
  • If you have answered yes to any of the above, please do not attend your appointment at the clinic and call the clinic to reschedule your appointment to a time when we can ensure the safety of the staff and our families.
  • Please call our clinic at 306-931-2858 if you require clarifications
  • If you are experiencing acute COVID symptoms please call the Healthline at 811 for guidance on medical management 


We will continue to suspend all late cancel fees at the clinic during the pandemic. 


 We will continue to do our part to protect the public and limit the spread of COVID-19.
